What We Know And Believe!

And we know that the Son of God is come and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and Eternal Life. 1John 5:20

The Lord’s flock established here inSan Leandro California by His providence and grace hold this truth to be the solemn, solitary and saving message and revelation of God Almighty.

Jesus Christ the eternal Word of GOD, one with the Father and with the Spirit are co- equals in all things. They are the one LORD. Yet they are three distinct persons.

John1:1 1John 5:6,7 Deut 6:4

This grand mystery of the tri-unity of omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, an all Sovereign God is beyond the comprehension of all mortal creatures, especially man whose minds have been corrupted and polluted by the self indulgence which sin had afforded him since our Father Adam, yet being plainly revealed in Holy scripture, we declare this to be the whole truth of GOD! 1Tim 3:16 2Tim 3:16

We know and believe the bible to be the inspired revelation of the true and living God given through holy men of old. 2Pet 1:19-21 These men were infallibly influenced by the gracious Spirit of God to utter and write that which in totality, from Gen 1:1 to rev 22:21 is the Word of God.

In the purpose and economy of the all wise God, He has made known unto us His will, through the scriptures. Which will is summed up in the person and work of His Son Jesus Christ, by whom he made the worlds. Eph 3:9Col 1:15-23
 
The theme of all the scriptures is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Rev 19:10 In the volume of this masterpiece we call the Holy Scriptures, God has made known unto us His salvation, the necessity of His salvation and the way of His salvation. Psalm 40:7,8

From before the foundations of the world Christ was the Lamb of God slain. This was the eternal council of redemption. "Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin". Heb 9:22

God in His omniscience having foreseen the rebellion and fall of mankind chose, in mercy, to be compassionate, in an everlasting way, to redeem some ofAdams fallen sons through the blood and merits of Jesus Christ his only begotten Son.

In the old covenant which is commonly confessed to be the writings of Genesis to Malachi the prophet, we have the promise of Christ coming and redemptive work foreshadowed in the ceremonies of the law of Moses, given to the children ofIsrael. The whole scheme was a picture of that grace which should come in its reality and fullness in Jesus Christ, who Himself came in the fullness of time, made of a woman born under the law. John 1:17 Gal 3:13 Hebrews 10 Luke 24:25-27

When the Son of God came, He lived, died, and rose again, having forever perfected them who were sanctified in him. By this He has delivered us from the curse of the law, so that we are entirely free from the guilt and damnation of our sin. Rom 8:1-5

Hebrews 10:9-14.

We call this the GOSPEL! Which is the establishing of the new covenant of Grace, promised in the old testament, experienced by faith in them that then believed, and brought to full confirmation in Christ, for His new testament Church.

By the incarnation of God, His perfect life and impeccable obedience, did so procure and everlasting righteousness, which not only satisfied divine justice against the sins of His people, but satisfied His Father as well. Isa 53:9-11 Mth 3:17 Mth 17:5

Christ has become for those who believe in him, a surety, substitute, representative, redeemer, and all sufficient SAVIOR. Mt 1:21

This relationship being of the highest expression of divine love, between Christ and his people, did not begin in time, nor upon the necessary rule of faith, but in old eternity, before there was a world, a man, and an awful fall into sin and damnations ruin.

1Tim 1:8-10 Rev 13:8 Rev 17:8

With this short commentary on that which is joyfully and commonly believed among us here at Grace we humbly and plainly declare that : Salvation is of the LORD!

That man has been of himself irreparably ruined by the fall. Therefore being by nature dead in trespasses and sins unable and unwilling to save himself, and thus is headed to damnations Hell! Eph 2:1-10

That he must be redeemed by the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ our LORD

Gal 3;13

That He must also, in order to obtain salvation and glory, be regenerated of God’s Spirit.

John 3:1-5

And that this salvation is mightily, and effectually accomplished by the lowly but wisely ordained means of gospel preaching, whereby God the Holy Spirit takes the word of the gospel and gives spiritual life to men and women producing a vital faith in the living Christ, to whom all their life long they shall be coming, until at last they with all the elect of God chosen in him, before the foundation of the world, shall see his face in glory!

And with this confidence, we call on all who hear to Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED!
